Faculty of Public Health Mahidol University launches an integrated rural health development field training. The training emphasizes on community-based participation in planning and problems solving. Mahidol University focuses on teamwork enhancement of student with multidisciplinary career in public health and the community as well as application of academic skills with local wisdom and culture for community health development and promotion by allowing the community to be a learning center. This can enhance the community potential for self-reliance in health and capability of thinking, planning, and solving the problems resulting in good quality of life and being a role model for nearby communities.
