The Royal Scholarship under Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Education Project to the Kingdom of Cambodia has been ongoing since 2011, initiated by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn's wish to develop the quality education system for Cambodian youth as a gift to Cambodian people, considered as Her Royal Highness’ longtime friends. Accordingly, general and vocational education systems and dual-system schools have emerged. In addition, Her Royal Highness was concerned about students' health, so she emphasized that good education must go along with good hygiene. Implementing the past projects has resulted in good relations and cooperation between the Kingdom of Thailand and Cambodia in both the private and public sectors. As a result, more than 800 qualified new-generation workers who have received royal grants have gradually returned to develop the country, thus confirming that this project is a genuinely sustainable royal gift.
