Mahidol University places great importance on the quality of life of its students and staff by providing on-campus housing at reasonable rates. This initiative helps reduce travel expenses, minimize the use of personal vehicles—thereby lowering pollution around the campus—while increasing convenience in accessing academic buildings, central services, and campus activities. It also ensures that residents live in a safe and well-maintained environment. The residential buildings are categorized as follows:

• Student dormitories
  Mahidol University provides on-campus dormitories to provide students with a safe and adequately cared for environment. The university provides 24-hour security and manages the residences with an emphasis on efficient resource use. The dormitories have common areas that support collaborative activities. These activities promote the exchange of experiences between students from different faculties and disciplines. They also foster social skills, responsibility, sharing, and community coexistence. Furthermore, they provide opportunities for students to learn good resident etiquette, manage shared resources, and live in a diverse environment with respect for diversity. This preparation for quality and appropriate living in real society includes: Student condominiums (Anchan Condo A and Dusita Condo D), Inthanin House, Chaiyaphruek House, Kanpai Mahidol House, and Puttharaksa House, with maintenance fees starting at 3,000 baht per month. The university also provides housing support for underprivileged undergraduate students. The university provides dormitory housing grants to help reduce the burden of education and housing costs. The grants are valued at no more than 12,000 baht per academic year. and allocate no more than 20 scholarships per academic year to ensure students have the opportunity to continue their studies and enjoy a decent quality of life within the university.
