Mahidol University is a university that has a variety of academic fields in both science
and arts. It is considered to be a source of "wisdom" that can be practically applied to
maximize the benefits of life and human society. As the university's ambition is “Wisdom
of the land” is regarded as a source for seeking, creating and expanding knowledge that
goes beyond textbooks, whereas learning in today's world requires not only enlightenment
or "deep knowledge" in one's science or profession, but must also be "broad knowledge"
in living and working skills.
Mahidol University has accumulated and distributed a wide range of information, both
scientific and artistic, from highly qualified academics and experienced personnel
through public channels which has benefited society.
