10 Oct. 2565Dry Season piloting of the MRC Riverine Plastic Monitoring ProtocolsThe increasing threat of plastic pollution to the Mekong River, the MRC Riverine Plastic Monitoring Programme (RPM) to assess the status and trends of macro- and microplastics pollution has been developed. And field pilot of the three (3) protocols of the MRC RPM aiming to obtain knowledge and necessary to adapt the draft monitoring protocols to the situations of the Mekong River prior to conducting a full-scale monitoring. -

7 Oct. 2565Solar Powered Boat to Promote Sustainable Tourism PolicyThe DASTA and Koh Mak coastal communities can benefit from solar electric boat technology transfer as a tool for tourism management and coral conservation. The solar electric boats will replace the use of motor boat fuel, eliminating carbon emissions and soot contamination from burning that can damage coral reefs. This transfer of technology can help promote sustainable tourism policies and reduce the potential for long-term environmental damage. The communities can use the solar electric boats for a variety of tourism-related activities, including recreation, sightseeing, touring, and fishing. Additionally, the solar electric boats can be used to monitor and protect coral reefs from overfishing, pollution, and other threats. These boats can also be used to create educational programs and promote environmental stewardship among local communities. -
7 Oct. 2565Project: Thai Coast: Coastal Vulnerability, Resilience and Adaptation in ThailandThe Thai-coast project is helping improve scientific understanding of the vulnerability of Thailand’s coastal communities to hydro-meteorological hazards, including storms, floods and coastal erosion, under future climate change. For the study sites in Krabi and Nakhon Si Thammarat Provinces, key findings are that modelled future climate change indicates more extended and severe floods in Southern Thailand with the risk of flash floods increasing significantly, and erosion and accretion rates are more dramatic on mangrove coastlines compared with sandy coastlines. Despite variable physical and socio-economic resilience, the two study sites have comparable coastal vulnerability index (CVI) values. Project results impact through public engagement, dissemination and dialogue with policy makers and coastal communities. -
10 Mar. 2565Mobile Stroke Unit Tele Consultation and Patient Transfer ; A One-Stop Service for AllMSU-SOS is a model project that aims to improve the efficiency of teleconsultation and Ischemic stroke treatment using a Mobile Stroke Unit. The onboard CT Scanner, which is teleconsultation compatible, scans an image of the patient’’s brain and communicates with a medical team via 4G/5G technology, a high-speed wireless network, to make an immediate decision to deliver a thrombolytic agent. It also enables the medical team to inject contrast media to monitor cerebrovascular functions, resulting in a faster and more accurate diagnosis and a shorter referral procedure. As a result, the rate of disability, mortality, and loss to the patient and family is lowered, and the expense of the fund for long-term disabled patient care is reduced. -
2 Sep. 2565Developing the evaluation system on the impact of distance from villages on mammal status and distribution using camera trap in the target area for conservation expansion at Ta-riu watershed, Khao Soi Dao wildlife sanctuary: an approach for conservation pBesides being one of the main headwaters of Chanthaburi river, North Ta-riu sub-tributary, Khao Soi Dao wildlife sanctuary has been the habitat of many endangered mammals with the efforts of community-based conservation by local people for more than a decade. However, these ecosystem services will be destroyed if the Khlong Ta Liu Dam project of the Royal Irrigation Department was successfully re-proposed to construct in this area. -

It emphasizes the right of living in the land, boundary and the use of resources of ethnic groups which have lived, occupied, and used for long time. In this context, ethnic groups have the right to live,to find food and continueto live in a traditional way. This makes the maintenance of traditional and sustainable food systems an urgent priority for the United Nations. It has been made as United Nations Permanent Forum of Indigenous Peoples’ Issues: UNPFII for ethnic groups officially. However, despite important declarations supporting ethnic groups, but they are highly still vulnerable to climate changes, environmental crises, and other factors.
