The “STEM & ROBOTICS CAMP” Workshop

The project "STEM & ROBOTICS CAMP" is an extracurricular program aimed at developing coding skills for both teachers and students. The activities are conducted in three dimensions, including practical coding training for students and teachers, researching and developing teaching processes for coding, and researching and developing coding teaching materials. The working principles of the team are based on the concept that teaching media used in the activities should be affordable, accessible, and the learning process should be easy to understand, engaging, widely available, and sustainable.

Royal Project Foundation: Conservation of local and rare plant genes for sustainable development towards international SDGs goals

Survey of genetic diversity, local plants and botanicals to create a database of plants, boundaries of plant genes. Amnat Charoen provinces began in the year 2012-present by Amnat Charoen campus together with the forest community Amnat Charoen province and Amnat Charoen provincial administrative organization under Plant Genetic Conservation Project under the Royal initiative of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. The objective is to meet the work on local herb database, for plants in the form of a provincial plant museum of Amnat Charoen province and study the guidelines for processing agricultural products from local plant resources, it strengthens the community network potential and creates a bond between the university and the community. Operated by surveying and collecting local plant data in forest communities, Amnat Charoen province. Prepare a database of diversity and distribution of local plant. Including the processing of forest products. The project focuses on participation with local agencies, schools and communities in the area, leading to a result on forest conservation, knowledge about diversity of local plant resource, awareness of plant genetic conservation in Amnat Charoen province.

Dry Season piloting of the MRC Riverine Plastic Monitoring Protocols

The increasing threat of plastic pollution to the Mekong River, the MRC Riverine Plastic Monitoring Programme (RPM) to assess the status and trends of macro- and microplastics pollution has been developed. And field pilot of the three (3) protocols of the MRC RPM aiming to obtain knowledge and necessary to adapt the draft monitoring protocols to the situations of the Mekong River prior to conducting a full-scale monitoring.

Community participation in palliative care at home: Khao Thong Subdistrict Phayuhakhiri District Nakhonsawan Province

All citizens have equal access to health services. Palliative care at home is a health service that has a tendency to increase in demand. Participation of communities and primary health care providers will lead to inclusive and sustainable delivery of services in the community. There is a tendency of people’’s needs for palliative care at home to increase. Because of the incidence of chronic, serious, life-threatening diseases, including the increasing proportion of the elderly, the number of terminal illness patients and the elderly at the end of life has increased accordingly. Palliative care is taking care of physical ailments, holistic mental, social and spiritual problems from the first stage of diagnosis to being in the palliative stage until the patient’’s death.

The study of a model development of primary health care services integrated with social services for persons with disabilities project is a project that Ratchasuda College Mahidol University. Received support from the Thai Health Promotion Foundation to bring the policy into practice by collaborating with government network partners and the public sector, including the National Health Security Office (NHSO), Sirindhorn National Medical Rehabilitation Institute (SNMRI) Ministry of Public Health, Thailand Council for Independent Living and Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities Ministry of Social Development and Human Security. To drive policy into action to achieve sustainability (SDG 17) in the development/care of the health and well-being of people with disabilities (SDG 3) is to increase opportunities. /reduce disparity on access to health and social services for people with disabilities (SDG 10).

Organizing an expert workshop on health, wildlife and livelihoods

Series of workshops to discuss and find solutions to wildlife and environmental problems that affect human lives, as well as the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic in Southeast Asia and the Pacific, was organized to encourage the discussion of the issues and to compile the ideas from the discussion into a discussion paper that could be used as a policy guideline for the recovery of human health, poverty reduction, sustainable resource use, and environmental protection.

Animal Speak by Mahidol
