The Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital recognized the importance of systematic preparation in the semi-urban community of Bangkok Noi District to become a model for a "healthy city" and "healthy community." With funding from the Thai Health Promotion Foundation, the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital established the Development of Health Care System and Community Health Through a Healthcare Database Project (Bangkok Noi Model Phase 2). The accomplishments of Bangkok Noi Model Phase 1 have highlighted the significant factors contributing to the project's ongoing success: the capability and the relationship between the leaders and the residents in that district. Furthermore, data retrieval in the form of project extension was critical in identifying areas of weakness and improvement for comprehensive care — prevention, promotion, treatment, or rehabilitation.
Project Duration:
1st November 2020 – 30th June 2023
