The program aims to produce graduates with a vision, possessing high academic knowledge, morality, ethics, and a code of conduct that will enable them to plan and manage sustainable work in the fields of environment and natural resources. The program aims to develop their ability to analyze and synthesize ideas for maximum benefit to society, through an integrated learning process that combines both theoretical and practical aspects in a systematic manner. This approach is in line with the current changes in the social, economic, environmental, and technological dimensions.
Program Objectives:
Upon completion of this program, students pursuing a Master of Science Program in Technology of Environmental Management will have the following qualifications, in accordance with graduate standards:
1. Possess a strong sense of morality, ethics, academic integrity, and professional ethics as they pertain to environmental management technology.
2. Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of principles and theories related to environmental management technology, with the ability to pursue academic and technological advances in related disciplines and integrate interdisciplinary approaches.
3. Possess skills in analyzing, criticizing, synthesizing, and conducting research related to environmental management technology, with a commitment to adhering to research ethics.
4. Demonstrate responsibility and the ability to work both independently and as a team member in interdisciplinary groups.
5. Possess skills in numerical analysis and the ability to effectively use information technology for information search, collection, and analysis related to environmental management, as well as the ability to communicate effectively through listening, speaking, reading, writing, and presenting.
Program Expected Learning Outcomes (PLOs)
1. Develop strong academic and professional ethics in science, technology, and the environment.
2. Acquire knowledge and skills to prevent, rehabilitate, and address environmental problems in a sustainable manner, using appropriate technology.

The qualifications for students studying in Plan A: A2 are as follows:
- Hold a bachelor's degree in any field from an institution of higher education recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation.
- Have a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.50.
- Achieve a minimum English language score that meets the criteria established by the Graduate School of Mahidol University.
- In the case of foreign applicants, meet the minimum Thai language proficiency guidelines established for foreign students enrolled in graduate-level Thai language programs at Mahidol University.
- Students who do not meet the qualifications specified in (2) to (4) may be considered for admission at the discretion of the Program Administrative Committee and the Dean of the Graduate School.
Qualifications for students enrolled in Plan B:
- Completion of a bachelor's degree in any field from a higher education institution recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation.
- Attainment of a cumulative grade point average of 2.50 or higher.
- Achievement of a passing score in the English language proficiency test based on the criteria established by the Graduate School of Mahidol University.
- At least one year of work experience in the field of environment or related disciplines.
- For foreign applicants, meeting the minimum Thai language proficiency standards outlined by Mahidol University for those enrolling in a Thai language program at the graduate level.
- Individuals with qualifications different from those specified in (2) to (5) may be considered for admission at the discretion of the Program Administrative Committee and the Dean of the Graduate School.

Research Project (Thesis)
The thesis for this course involves creating a project and conducting research on various topics, including resource management in various fields, environmental pollution management, environmental restoration, disaster management and recovery, environmental management tools, basic environmental resource management policy and planning. These research areas align with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and represent the integrated research direction of the Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies.
In this course, students will learn to write a thesis systematically, including patterns and presentation techniques. They will also learn how to write reports and research articles.
Independent study structure of the curriculum (Independent Study)
Independent Study Project of the program is a study report that students search for and synthesize research to develop and write a report in a manner that will give initiative and create new knowledge to be applied in environmental management.
