
The Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies, Mahidol University, conducted a project on “Investigation of Effective Measures to Promote Sustainable Urban Development through Participation Process: A case study of Salaya City in Nakhon Pathom Province”. The project was funded by the Thailand Research Fund (TRF) with aim to promote and transform Salaya City to be a green city. The result is a set of 11 sustainable development indicators, namely economic growth, water and waste management system, social equality, good quality of life, happiness, good governance, built environment, natural environment, energy, transportation systems, and city planning, through participation of people and various sectors in Salaya area. By this, a forum for disseminating research results was organized on May 11, 2018, at the Boonsiri meeting room ASEAN Institute for Health Development Mahidol University.
